Restaurant 2Vine, 24 Winthrop Street, Rochester

Dining styles and expectations are changing and 2Vine is changing with them. Always ahead of the food culture curve, 2Vine has recognized that the days of the three course meal are a thing of the past. Today’s dining experience is about sampling a variety of dishes and flavors, maximizing the experience without maximizing the portions. The new menu at Restaurant 2Vine, with its expanded selection of small plates, does not disappoint.  Restaurant 2Vine has always been one of Rochester’s most exciting dining experiences. With this new menu of dishes created by Chef Dmitriy Ruzhanskiy, they have surpassed even themselves.  A seasoned and highly skilled chef, Ruzhanskiy worked in New York City for more than 10 years before moving to Rochester. His training under Chef Tom Colicchio, and his time spent working in the kitchen of Colicchio’s Craft Restaurant, are apparent in the style, diversity and joyous flavors of 2Vine’s new menu.

inner loop

The Inner Loop, Rochester NY

You may have noticed “The Big Fill” in progress.  Soon, the Rochester Inner Loop will be a design flaw of the past.  The project to fill the old highway and develop the area as a revitalized residential housing and commercial district is planned to be completed late next year.  Late this summer, the removal of the East Avenue bridge will begin, taking 30-60 days to complete.  After this short traffic inconvenience is past, we will be that much closer to a major step in the development of a vital city.
