The East End just keeps growing and helping to revitalize urban Rochester.  Charlotte Square, is in the beginning stage of construction. The ground breaking ceremony was celebrated with Mayer Warren in mid November.  The property will provide a downtown living experience with beautifully designed apartments, fitness center, and community space all within a short walk of The Little Theatre, Hart’s Local Grocers, Restaurant 2Vine, The Eastman Theatre and the other great spots this area of the city has to offer.

mullers cider house

Mullers Cider House, 1344 University Ave, Rochester NY

This is a teaser mention.  Conceptual drawings show what is to be a beautiful space! Opening one day in the future on University Ave. near Joe Bean Coffee,  Mullers Cider House will be a craft hard cider bar serving local and imported hard ciders and food.  A natural addition to our famous apple growing area.  The owners let us know they estimate opening Dec. 2015.

Pub 235, 235 North Ave, Webster

Just opened on October 31, Pub 235 in Webster offers a wide variety of brick-oven pizzas, speciality sandwiches, burgers and great selection of beer and wine to go with them.

Upper Crust Cakery / Glen Edith Coffee Roasters, 44 Elton St., Rochester

NOTA, home of MAG, The Village Gate, and all those great places to go on a Friday night, well every night, really, welcome Upper Crust Cakery / Glen Edith Coffee Roasters to the neighborhood.  The business is a collaboration between Upper Crust Cakery and Pour Coffee.  The name Glen Edith comes from the brand Pour Coffee on Park. Ave. roasts under.  The new bakery and coffee house opened earlier this week and is celebrating the official grand opening on November 21, when you can enjoy some samples, giveaways, raffles and from 1-3pm, listen to listen to some live music from Woodland Row – bring a non-perishable food item for a donation to the Open Door Mission and get a special discount coupon.
