Flight West, 836 Long Pond Road, Greece, NY

Corn Hill Landing’s popular Flight Wine Bar opened their second location in Greece on Long Pond Rd.  Flight West is a wine and whiskey bar.  The new location offers artisan cheeses and charcuterie just like the Corn Hill Landing, but will also have 7-10 hot plates designed to share tapas style.  Created by owners David and Tasia, whose love of wine and extensive travels to the world’s leading wine regions bring a unique wine experience to our area. Bar 145, 71 Celebration Drive, College Town, Rochester

A new gastro pub, Bar 145, has opened at College Town.  Offering a wide variety of drinks, burgers, bands and flat screen tv’s, it’s opened just in time to be a prime summertime destination with their industrial sized garage door opening onto a relaxing patio area.  They are already building a local fan base receiving 5 star reviews on Facebook.  And, if you’re curious, 145 is the temperature of a perfectly cooked medium rare burger- now you know!

 

Texas de Brazil, 22 Celebration Drive, College Town, Rochester

Texas de Brazil also opened at College Town Rochester this spring offering a fine dining option that combines the cuisine of southern Brazil and the spirit of Texas.  Be ready for a parade of seasoned meats brought right to your table by a troops of carvers, and an extravagant seasonal salad area with 50-60 items.  They currently have popular locations already in Buffalo and Syracuse.  With a focus on steak, a wide variety of wines, seating with a view of the cooking area and private dining, it’s another great addition to the Mt Hope area.

Stout Bar and Grill, 2001 East Main St., Rochester

Two new bars opened in the Winton Village.  Stout Bar and Grill opened on March 11.  Currently offering a wide range of craft beers, including 20 on tap with four nitro lines, their menu will soon include burgers, panini sandwiches, wings and more.

The Blossom Road Pub, 198 North Winton Road, Rochester

The Blossom Road Pub opened in March, also in the Winton Village neighborhood.  Fitting the role of a Gastropub, the completely renovated space offers local brews and the kitchen will use locally sourced food for menu items such as Braised Beef Puotine, their signature Philly Cheese Steak, meatball sliders and more.
